Ever wonder why being consistent with your food, workouts, and motivation is SO hard?
This blog will give you the reasons why and 5 things you can do to that work!
I want to introduce you to Christine because her problem is many of our problems, but she beat it in the Lord.
She came to me because she couldn’t stick to her goals. She would do really well for a couple of weeks, but then she would quit. She asked me to help her understand why she kept quitting. I asked Christine if she had ever made God the God of her fitness goals. She laughed and said, “What do you mean? He doesn’t care about the forty pounds I need to lose.” As we spoke, Christine started to cry and said, “I did this to myself. I did this to my body. Why would God want to help me, and how could He help me?”
Maybe today you feel like Christine. You’ve started and stopped your fitness goals more times than you can count—but you really want to see them through.
Hey Sister, Today, I’m getting personal and opening up the pages of my messy tea-stained journal to share the priceless words God has given me to encourage myself to get motivated, be consistent, and show up when I have nothing left.

Hey, sisters in Christ, I recently interviewed Colleen Fotsch. She literally is the embodiment of Strong. Confident. His.
She's a data analyst and a five-time all-American swimmer at UC Berkeley, where her team won many championships, and after college, Colleen got into CrossFit. She competed at the games and the regional regionals multiple times as both an individual athlete and in the team division, and she had a first-place finish in the 15.5 where she was the fastest woman in the world.
In 2020. Colleen was also recruited to join the USA Bobsled team. She’s been an athlete all her life, but she has her own struggles too.
“Yeah, absolutely. I've had two major injuries. I had a torn rotator cuff from just overuse from swimming, which I didn't get surgery on or didn't know was torn until I was midway through my CrossFit career. And that kind of...
Sisters, I had a moment this week. It was like Jesus connected all the pieces of my fitness goals and my hormonal weight struggle. Everything clicked together, and I could see the clouds lift.
Today I’m going to share the things I learned and the conversation I had with a top integrative Doctor that made this happen.
If this is your struggle, I want this clarity for you too!
Before you read another word, let’s pray.
Father God, Help reveal to my Sister what is keeping her from her best health and fitness. Give her clarity. Show her you are with her. God throughout the day, help her remember to stay connected to you. The answers to her problems and the consistency she needs are found in you, Don’t let her lose hope. Father do a new thing in her today, show her it isn’t over, and the best is yet to come.
In Jesus’ name, amen.

Picture it, it’s after dinner, but you keep wandering into the kitchen and wanting to eat. Why is that? This is funny because it’s true, but what it’s doing to our health is no laughing matter.

You are on my heart today! I know the battle to get healthy is hard and you’re facing things today that you think no one understands, but Jesus does. I want to remind you of that today, and help you get free and on the right track in Him today!
I want to quickly say that I’m right there with you sister, and I understand the struggle too. I’m trying to make every food choice a God-made one, and I’m faced daily with the same choices you are. We are on this battleship together, it is not a cruise ship, so let’s get powered up and prayed up for the day.
I pray over my sister today that she would know you are there to take her pain, her hidden hurts, and you can help her with the habits that keep her from your best. Father, the world is so loud and the journey to be fit is hard....
