Hey Fit sister friend! Do quotes motivate you? They really motivate me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve collected quotes. Have you ever noticed how within those few words, we can shift our mindsets?

One of the workout classes I go to has a screen that flashes quotes. For the last few weeks, every time I read one of these quotes, the Holy Spirit gives me a spin on it. They have been motivating me, and they will power your workout in a whole new way. I want to give you everything God has given me in hopes that it helps you too!

They can be the difference that turns your day around, gets you back on track, and fuels your motivation when you need it most.

Motivational Quotes with a Faith Spin

I want to make sure you know that I’m not saying that some of the worldly fitness quotes are bad, but the one thing that stands out is that God isn’t a part of them. He is our truest power source, so He should be front and center. Fitness can be all about me and my three best friends; me, myself, and I, but that motivation never lasts. This will! It’s exactly the motivation you need to keep on keeping on!

Let’s Pray, Sweet Friend.

Dear God,

It can be really hard to stay motivated to work out. Looking to Jesus, I think of how He walked everywhere to serve -

Unlike the rabbis of his time, he didn’t wait for others to come to him or sit in a temple. Instead, he walked everywhere, even hiked.

He is our example to move our bodies and train us in godliness.

In the times we live in, we don’t have to walk everywhere, so we struggle to get enough movement.

Help our motivation to workout come from the desire to fulfill your call for our lives. Like Jesus.

We want to be the very best version of ourselves for you.

The world wants to take you out of everything, but with these quotes, we are making you our focus. We don’t want to come to the end of our days with the weight of regret that we didn’t workout, remind us how simple it can be to go for a walk or put on Christian music and dance for you when we can’t get to the gym or a class.

Bring these quotes to mind when we start falling for the comparison trap or struggle to find consistency. We know that every good thing comes from you, so we seek you in our workouts that you may be glorified. According to your word, please bless the work of our hands and hearts.

In Jesus' name, amen.
