Our Prayer for Marriages & Those Looking for the Right One

Dear God,

We are celebrating Love this week. We get to love because you first loved us. Thank you for the greatest gift of love, Jesus!

We lift up those who are married, we pray a blessing over their marriage and that any plan the enemy would have to destroy their marriage be thwarted, for those who are having marital issues, we pray that you would rekindle and reconnect them. Remind them why they fell in love, help use their current struggle to strengthen them, and then let them use it to help other people through their issues.

We stand on your word that says, What God has joined together, let not man separate.

We lift up those who are waiting for the right one, who are lonely, who feel they may never find the love of their life, help them seek you and trust you for the right spouse at the right time and not settle for the world’s way but your way.

We thank you for our marriage, and all you’ve blessed us with, we are speechless with gratitude.

Lord, you gave us this gift of love. We celebrate you and love you with all our hearts!

Love never fails, love always wins!

In Jesus’ name, amen!

This is really special. I wanted to honor my dad, John Dolan, so our faith fuel is inspired by what my father memorized and spoke at our wedding.

Faith Fuel

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing

If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.

It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. – 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
