Dear God,

I feel stuck and unmotivated to keep trying. Help me stop rehearsing the why: Why did I eat that? Why don’t I feel like working out? Why can’t I be consistent? Liberate me from thinking this has to be, or could ever be, a perfect all-or-nothing journey. Father, renew a right spirit in me, and show me how to get back up in grace and take one meal and one workout at a time.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. – Hebrews 4:16
