Open my eyes to where I am not being the best steward of my body or my time. Help me find the workout you made my body to do and to enjoy. Allow me to experience the benefits of activity— more energy, happier mood, better sleep, less stress, and less joint pain—so I understand the value of regular exercise. Keep me from extreme views of working out, and be my source, Lord. I pray the Holy Spirit empower me to offer my body as a living sacrifice, the kind you find acceptable. Let your voice be louder than my excuses.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
