I have nothing left. Why do I wait until I hit rock bottom to come to you? Please forgive me for coming to you as my last resort, when you are my first line of defense. Today, I’m fully relying on you. Your power is made perfect in my weakness. Lord, I see how
I need to abide in you, because apart from you, I can do nothing. Holy Spirit, give me a nudge when I start to drift away from you. Thank you, Lord for your Word to run to, and for showing me that in my weakness, you are my strength.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
“But he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” - Corinthians 12:9
“He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.” - Isaiah 40:29-31
