Do you struggle with cravings? We ALL do from time to time. Learning what your craving are telling you is a significant part of being able to lose weight and keep it off, and this includes combatting them.  When you crave chocolate, chips, and soft drinks, your body is trying to tell you something! It’s trying to relay a message that it needs fuel, but here’s the kicker – it doesn’t need to be fueled with those sugary, calorie-laden treats. It needs to be fueled with wholesome God-made foods that will help you do the work that HE has cut out for you with energy and focus.

He is our MAKER. Just like any auto-maker designs a car to run best on a certain type of oil and gasoline or diesel, your body is designed to run best on the foods designed by God, your maker! When you feel those cravings hit, be sure to run through my SAFE acronym (Surrender Appetite Faithfully Everyday) and pray to make wise choices that will satiate you and benefit your body.

I know it can be difficult to make wise choices when those cravings are so strong, so I’ve put together this reference chart for you. If you just need someone to tell you what to do (I think we all do, sometimes), print this list and hang it on your fridge for easy access. Put a copy in your purse, too, in case cravings hit on-the-road.

Think about what foods you crave the most and then check the list.
