For You Friday Giveaway: Six Pack Bag

When I decided to get healthy for good, getting started was overwhelming. It is hard to know where to begin a total lifestyle transformation, and there were so many diets, gyms, workout plans, fitness products, supplements, and brands that I had never heard of, all promising amazing results.

It’s funny looking back on that time, because while there were so many voices vying for my attention, I felt alone. I wanted someone to guide me through this journey—not someone who wanted my money, but someone who cared enough to walk alongside me as I sought a transformation from the inside out.

I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that God is the reason I am where I am today. He has rejoiced with me in victory and comforted me in sorrow, and thinking about how far He has brought me is overwhelming. However, I don’t think He has brought me here simply to bless me. I believe deep in my heart, that God has written my story in such a way that it has brought me to you.

Philippians 2:1-2 says:

“If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love

[…] then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.”

“Each of you should look not only to

I believe that God has blessed me so that I can bless you. I care deeply about your fitness journey, because I have been where you are, and I’m still learning every day. I want to be for you what I longed for years ago: someone who cares about your journey, and who wants to walk alongside you.

One way I’ve decided to do this is to host For You Friday on my blog. Most Fridays, I will be hosting a giveaway of something that I’ve found helpful on my journey to a Faith Inspired Transformation. These giveaways will consist of some of my favorite things, ranging from fitness products to beauty products, and everything in between.

Today I will be giving away one of my favorite fitness products: a Six Pack Bag! These bags are designed to simplify eating healthy on the go. With compartments constructed with healthy meal management in mind, I love traveling with my Six Pack Bag. I use this bag to carry snacks for my daughter, lunch for myself, or protein shakes on the go, and have found my Six Pack Bag to be so helpful in managing my family’s health. The model I’m giving away is the Expert Innovator 300, priced at $69.99.

My fitness journey started from a simple goal to loose weight. I went through dark time of fighting with bulimia. Became a winner in 2003. Fall in love with running. Ran two marathons. Now, running is my therapy. Ten days ago I’ve started Fitness Nutrition Program at ISSA. I am planning on becoming a Fitness Nutritionist and Fitness Trainer to help other people with their struggles of achieving healthier and happier life.

I found your blog after reading about you in Oxygen magazine. Abolutely LOVE that you love Jesus, and that HE is apart of your fitness story. I am 16, and love health and fitness. Though I am not exactly where I want to be with my body, I am learning to care about what really matters. Stress can be detrimental! 🙂 After all, I have been fearfully and wonderfully made, and my mission should be to please my Savior. Thank you for all the great work you do!

I started getting into health & fitness after I had my second child about 7 years ago. I had no idea I would fall in love with it. Living a healthy lifestyle is one of the best decision I’ve made!

I’ve been super active my whole life. I’ve done every type of sport out there (notably: basketball, softball, lacrosse, field hockey, tennis, golf, volleyball, and soccer, all throughout elementary, middle, and high school), I was a figure skater and competitive ballroom dancer, a ballet dancer, jazz/tap dancer; but after having debilitating back pain (especially from the ballroom dancing), I switched to focusing my fitness on restorative exercises like Pilates and yoga (which completely restored my back and ab/core strength, and now I’m able to do HIIT type exercises and dance for fun along with still being an avid Pilates and yoga practicer). I work out for life, and am blessed I CAN move every single day – some people don’t get that blessing.

This journey has meant everything to me. Starting out seeking health and having the body visually that I wanted has now become a pursuit of true refinement inside and out in the gym. I cannot believe how God has taught me through my workouts, which I now consider TRAINING for LIFE! I never would have thought of all that God can teach us through being physically fit, and that only continues to grow. My knowledge of Him has grown through this pursuit as well as understanding myself and others better as well. Before I thought it was just putting stress on my body to be physically stronger, but it’s SO much more than that. It’s a mentality. And it’s a huge spiritual journey as God uses it to teach me the true meaning of perseverance, humility, courage, and even Sabbath…. And finding that it ISN’T about SELF-confidence, but about GOD-confidence. With confidence in Christ, we can do anything. THIS is what He means by honoring Him in MIND, soul, AND body. These bodies are the temples of Christ and being healthy and fit is just one of many ways of glorifying Him. And what a outrageously beautiful thing to be able to understand a “workout”, training, etc, as WORSHIP to our Creator – saying THANK YOU LORD for this strong body you’ve given me, I dedicate to making it even stronger under pressure over time – as training in righteousness.

your book, blogs, and social media are the last link to my transformation I’ve been looking for…nutrition, training have all been checked off but having the strength and faith mentally and spiritually has always been a struggle.
