The Fountain of Youth Discovered

I remember I was at a party a few years back and my brother-in-law mentioned that he found a picture of my husband with some other blonde girl.

Don’t worry there was no unfaithfulness or jealousy. That bigger and older looking blonde girl was me.

He didn’t even recognize me. And while many have searched for the fountain of youth, a miracle age eraser, or magic pill—there isn’t one. There’s only one secret to looking and feeling younger:

It’s better living.

[blockquote]“The fountain of youth can be found in a puddle of your own sweat.”[/blockquote]

This is so true.

Consistent fresh blood flow through your entire body combined with toxins being removed quicker from your blood stream, and a healthier menu, do make a substantial difference. There is endless research that shows what daily exercise and clean eating can do to stave off the effects of aging.

When I eat sugar, I see an immediate difference. My skin looks dull, and dry and my energy plummets. Avoiding sugar has become my #1 anti-aging secret.

An active lifestyle and active faith has completely changed the way I look and feel. People often ask me what I do to my skin, and I don’t think they believe me when I tell them nothing makes my face glow like working up a good sweat.

Clearly God does not want us to live for ever, but he does want us to be in good health—to be youthful and vibrant—for the time we do spend in our physical bodies. Christ said:

[blockquote]The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
– John 10:10[/blockquote]

Evil is the thief who comes to try and steal us of our health, and all the blessing we have in Christ. Jesus comes to restore our health and let us live more abundantly.

We should be aware of what we put into our bodies, but again, physical exercise and right eating are dependent on our godliness and our well-being. We need to put our faith in God, and not the things of this world, to keep us healthy and strong.

[blockquote]He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. – Isaiah 40:29-31[/blockquote]

So be joyful, youthful and vibrant in Christ and you will run and not grow weary. You will walk and not grow faint.

Here to help you get happy, healthy, and F.I.T.,
