Today we gain victory over food, by surrendering our appetites to God, inviting Him to the table, and walking in the Holy Spirit gift of self-control. Here's a great tool I created based on Revelation 3:20.
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me."

I surrender my appetite to you. I lay down my desire to overeat, under-eat, and play food games. You said that if I invite you to the table, you would come in and eat with me. Father, I need your presence. I can’t do this alone. Help me to walk in the spirit of self-control. I know that my weak willpower will give up and quit on me every time, but you never will. I praise you for being my comfort, my healer, and my rock.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Now you know I’m never going to leave you without asking you to get into action because nothing happened without it!
