Is your schedule so full that you barely have time for yourself?
Being a Christian woman can make us feel like we should say yes to everything, but this isn’t true.
Today we learn how it’s biblical to say no, and that we can’t take care of everything and everyone else when we’re falling apart. Press play to hear how even Jesus said no in Mark 1, and how to choose the best yes and get on the no train.
“Let what you say be simply ‘yes’ or ‘no’; anything more than this comes from the evil one.” Matthew 5:37
“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”Proverbs 4:23
This episode dives deep into day 32 of the Strong. Confident. His. Faith & Fitness Devotional. Please join me with or without your devotional. Here's the prayer form that day...
As a Christian, it is so hard to say no. I feel called to serve, but I’m exhausted, overwhelmed, and I don’t have time to make my health a priority. Guard my heart and give me the courage to say no without any guilt. Teach me to establish boundaries and put a safeguard around my time. Let my yes be yes and my no be no, knowing anything else is from the enemy. Show me how to plan my schedule and include margin, so I’m living your best life for me.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Now you know I’m never going to leave you without asking you to get into action because nothing happened without it!
